The skales' attacks, the dryder's attacks, and the damage from the Shadow Elemenatalist's spells is the only reason you would want Sentinal's armour. And since:

1. You're hit by one fireball, and one incendiary bonds at the start.
2. Even in Frenzy, Dryder's can't even do double-digits.
3. You're running past the skales, and the degen is what you're worried about.

There is basically no benefit to having Sentinal's Armour down there for this run. All you're doing is forcing yourself to use 13 strength, which greatly restricts what you can bring.

i dunno, this run just isnt fun anymore, flail will put the final stake in the heart of this run, i recently switch from +5 armor sword and -2 shield to +7 and -2/-2, and it is DEPRESSING how little my health goes down from the spiders, hell i think i was taking about as much damage as the original build with dolyak, watch yourself, flurry, and healing signet. The damage seems like nothing but 0 and -8, seems like only -8 and rarely anything lower or higher then -8, flail changing that to -4, i dout there will be even any closeness to death. and witch to vampiric and gaining 1hp health back, hell, might as well say game over, spiders totaly mutilitated to the point that its bout like killing the needle spiders near ft ranik in presear even though its only a centimeter away from that already.

I don't see a reason why it would've changed since the run involves no AoE damage at all. Depending the build I suppose, not sure how the spiders use Savage Shot anymore.

You certainly still can, and as Xaero Gouki Kriegor, the run is easier than ever with a W/Mo build, thanks to Flail. You can completly do away with the zealous sword, in favor of a vamp, and I think it's definatly plausable to start looking at an alternative to Healing Hands. I used it twice the last run I did, the first time, I felt with a tiny bit of healing besides LV, I wouldn't have needed it, and the second time was when I got up to grab a coke.

did you use a -2/-2 with +7 shelter? cus if you haven't implemented that yet, you might do with just LV alone, but i dunno

i haven't tried this run in a while, got tied up in the uw one :P, im gonna mess around with it myself soon

I was using a -2/-2 shield, and a +5 of defense sword. Wait, no! I had been using my Victos because I didn't need the zealous mod anymore! Ha! When I get back from class I'll look into getting myself a +7 sheltering Vampiric sword. Next run I think I'll try "Shield's Up!" and Dragon Slash.

the synergy of adrenaline between watch yourself and flail just kinda , picks at me when i use them, when i used frenzy + watch yourself, i hit them both at the same time, now i ahve to get use to this, but im thinking i might be able to create a synergy between shields up + frenzied defense if i mess with attributes,

scratch taht skill out, im now wondering if the spiders have a certain weakness to an element, but as for the flail's requirment, im gonna have to switch to dragon slash or something, that adrenaline req + final thrust is getting annoying, but yea, now its complete rape on the spider's part

I see many many builds ( Axe and Sword ) but now I'm confused, which is the best and easiest one for a beginner ( aka N00B in Warrior FoW farming ). I do FoW with my Necro/Monk but Warrior farming is new for me.

I got a Wing's axe @ the moment, Max Gladiator Armour with major Absorption and major Vigor and minor axe. My offhand is a Sunreach Shield.

This weekend I'm buying NF so I got all Guild Wars skills.

Can anyone help me with this one?

Spiders are rangers, so they have a build in +30 AL vs elemental damage.

I've tried to hit them with a jitte, see if blunt damage is better then slashing. (they are bugs, I thought, why not squash them?), but the damage was the same. driftwoods, however, are sensitive to slashing, so I couldn't even use the jitte for it's skin.

Hmm just did my first W/mo run ever (because triple chop+cyclone wont work anymore) and flail definatly rocks... It's easy to maintain your watch yourself and flail if you make sure you renew them b4 you hit final thrust.

Oh, and HH really feels a bit like wasted slot indeed. I've only used it in front of the cave 2x and that wasn't even needed (I ran off to repositioning the spiders but just could have hacked away, but i lost life due to poison now) and not 1 time in the cave itself. And the vamp mod is nice ofcourse

Maybe i'll replace it with dragon slash if once I did a couple more runs...

Easiest build to start with would probably be one of the axe ones with Physical Resistance + Watch Yourself. Start with a high defense build, and adjust as you get more comfortable.

I dropped watch yourself on my second run yesterday so my HH wasn't completely useless anymore and I replaced it with sun and moon slash, so I still got some nice HP back when I used that. Might also replace this with silverwing slash...

So watch yourself isn't really needed anymore with HH.. (but still, if we replace HH instead of watch yourself we have a new elite slot..)

The spiders use Melandru's Resilience, not you.

Try using the builds at the top in the first post, only switch dolyak with Physical resistance, as it's a little easier with that.
